Ingredients
  

9 lasagna noodles

2 cups cooked ham, diced

2 cups fresh asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces

2 cups ricotta cheese

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Noodles: Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    Sauté Asparagus: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the asparagus and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until tender. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat.

      Mix Cheeses: In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, half of the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix until well blended.

        Layer the Lasagna:

          - Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

            - Spread a thin layer of heavy cream on the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.

              - Place three lasagna noodles over the cream.

                - Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles followed by half of the diced ham and half of the sautéed asparagus.

                  - Sprinkle one cup of mozzarella cheese on top.

                    - Repeat the layers: noodles, ricotta mixture, ham, asparagus, and mozzarella.

                      - Top with the final layer of noodles, remaining mozzarella, and the rest of the heavy cream. Finish with the remaining Parmesan cheese.

                        Bake the Lasagna: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.

                          Cool and Serve: Let the lasagna cool for about 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
