1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced

2 tablespoons fresh ginger, minced

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 large bell peppers (red and green), sliced

1 cup snap peas, trimmed

3 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons oyster sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1 tablespoon cornstarch

Salt and pepper to taste

Cooked jasmine rice, for serving

Sesame seeds and green onions, for garnish

Instructions
 

In a medium bowl, combine sliced beef, minced ginger, minced garlic, cornstarch, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Marinate for 15 minutes.

    Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

      Once hot, add the marinated beef in a single layer. Sear for about 2-3 minutes until browned, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until cooked through. Remove the beef and set aside.

        In the same skillet, add the sliced bell peppers and snap peas, stir-frying for about 3-4 minutes until they are tender-crisp.

          Return the beef to the skillet with the vegetables. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Toss everything together until well-coated and heated through.

            Serve the stir-fry over cooked jasmine rice.

              Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
