Ingredients

6 premium pork sausages (your choice of flavors)

1 lb (450g) Russet potatoes, peeled and cubed

½ cup whole milk

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 medium onion, finely sliced

1 cup beef broth

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Boil the Potatoes: Place the peeled and cubed potatoes in a large pot of salted cold water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat and cook for 15-20 minutes or until tender. Drain and return to the pot.

Mash the Potatoes: Add the whole milk, butter, and a pinch of salt and pepper to the potatoes. Mash until smooth and creamy. Cover and keep warm.

Cook the Sausages: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sausages and cook for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally until evenly browned and cooked through. Remove the sausages from the skillet and set aside.

Caramelize the Onions: In the same skillet, add the finely sliced onion and cook over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes until softened and golden brown.

Make the Gravy: Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce into the pan with the onions. Bring to a simmer and let it cook for about 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Combine & Serve: Place a generous scoop of mashed potatoes on each plate, top with the sausages, and drizzle with the onion gravy.

Garnish: Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the dish for a pop of color and added freshness.
