Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (or turkey for a lighter option)

1 cup elbow macaroni

2 cups beef broth

1 cup milk

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (plus extra for topping)

1 medium onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté until soft, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.

Increase the heat to medium-high and add the ground beef (or turkey). Brown the meat, breaking it apart with a spatula until it's cooked through, around 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Sprinkle in the paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well to season the meat.

Pour in the beef broth and milk, bringing the mixture to a gentle simmer.

Stir in the elbow macaroni, ensuring it's evenly distributed in the liquid. Cover the skillet and cook for about 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and the liquid is mostly absorbed.

Once the pasta is cooked, stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy. Adjust seasoning if necessary.

Remove from heat and let it sit for 2 minutes before serving.

                  Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 25 minutes | Servings: 4

                    - Presentation Tips: Serve in bowls with extra shredded cheese on top and a sprinkle of fresh parsley for a pop of color. For added crunch, offer crushed tortilla chips on the side.
