Ingredients

3 large egg whites

1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar

3/4 cup granulated sugar

1 tablespoon Jello powder (any flavor)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 200°F (95°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a clean, dry mixing bowl, combine the egg whites and cream of tartar. Using an electric mixer, beat on medium speed until foamy.

Increase the speed to high and gradually add the granulated sugar, one tablespoon at a time. Continue beating until the mixture forms stiff peaks and looks glossy.

Sprinkle in the Jello powder and vanilla extract, then gently fold with a spatula until fully combined and the mixture takes on the color of the Jello.

Using a piping bag or a spoon, drop small mounds of the meringue onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about an inch apart.

Bake in the preheated oven for 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the cookies are dry to the touch and can easily lift off the parchment without sticking.

Turn off the oven and leave the cookies inside to cool completely, which helps them become crisp.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 2 hours 30 minutes | Servings: About 20 cookies

                  - Presentation Tips: Arrange the cooled cookies on a colorful plate or tiered stand. You can also dust them lightly with powdered sugar or top with edible glitter for an extra festive touch!
