Go Back
The history of milkshakes traces back to the late 19th century, evolving from a simple combination of milk, sugar, and flavorings into the creamy concoctions we adore today. Initially, milkshakes were alcoholic beverages consumed by adults. However, as the years progressed, the trend shifted, and milkshakes became synonymous with sweet, non-alcoholic treats that became popular in diners and ice cream shops across America. The introduction of modern ingredients has further revolutionized milkshakes, allowing for endless flavor combinations and creative presentations.

Ingredients

6 Oreo cookies

2 cups vanilla ice cream

1 cup milk

Instructions

In a blender, add the 6 Oreo cookies. Break them into smaller pieces for easier blending.

Pour in the 2 cups of vanilla ice cream.

Add 1 cup of milk to the blender. This will help achieve a smooth and creamy consistency.

Blend all the ingredients on high until smooth and creamy, making sure no cookie chunks remain. You can adjust the milk quantity if you prefer a thinner or thicker shake.

Once blended, pour the milkshake into tall glasses.

For an extra flair, crumble additional Oreos on top of the milkshake, or place a whole Oreo on the rim of the glass for decoration.
