Ingredients

1 cup creamy peanut butter

1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 cup maple syrup (or honey)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional, such as walnuts or almonds)

1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional for topping)

Instructions

Prepare the Pan: Line a 8x8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal later. Lightly grease the paper to prevent sticking.

Mix Ingredients: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, unsweetened cocoa powder, maple syrup (or honey), vanilla extract, and salt. Use a spatula or a hand mixer to blend until smooth and well combined.

Add Nuts (Optional): If you are using nuts, fold them into the mixture until evenly distributed.

Transfer to Pan: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking pan. Use the spatula to spread it evenly and press down to pack it tightly.

Add Chocolate Chips (Optional): If desired, sprinkle chocolate chips on top and gently press them into the fudge for decoration and added flavor.

Chill: Place the pan in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or until the fudge is firm and set.

Cut & Serve: Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment overhang. Cut into squares or rectangles.

Store: Store any leftover fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
