Ingredients

2 shots of freshly brewed espresso

1 cup of whole milk (or use almond milk for a dairy-free option)

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Whipped cream (for topping)

Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder (for garnish)

Instructions

Start by brewing 2 shots of espresso using your espresso machine or stovetop espresso maker. Set aside.

In a small saucepan, combine the whole milk and brown sugar. Heat over medium-low heat, stirring frequently until the sugar dissolves, and the mixture is warm (do not boil).

Once warmed, remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and cinnamon. Use a milk frother or a whisk to froth the milk until it’s creamy and slightly frothy.

In a large mug or glass, pour the freshly brewed espresso.

Gently pour the frothed milk over the espresso, allowing it to combine while leaving some froth on top.

Finish off by adding a generous dollop of whipped cream on top of the frothed milk.

Garnish with chocolate shavings or a light dusting of cocoa powder for an elegant touch.

Optionally, sprinkle a dash of extra cinnamon on top for added flavor.
