Ingredients

1 pound beef roast (chuck or sirloin), cooked and shredded

2 cups beef broth

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 package (crescent roll dough)

1 cup shredded provolone cheese

1/2 cup sliced green onions

Optional: Dijon mustard for serving

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Heat until warm but not boiling.

Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a greased baking sheet, pressing the seams together to form a single rectangle.

Spread the shredded beef evenly over the dough, leaving a little space around the edges.

Sprinkle the provolone cheese on top of the beef, followed by the sliced green onions.

Starting from one end, carefully roll the dough into a log shape, completely encasing the filling. Pinch the seams to seal the edges.

Slice the log into 1-inch thick squares and arrange them on a greased baking sheet, cut side up.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the dough is golden brown and fully cooked through.

Remove the squares from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.

Serve warm with the beef broth mixture in small bowls for dipping. Consider offering Dijon mustard on the side for an extra kick.
