Ingredients

4 cups all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons instant yeast

1 teaspoon sugar

1 ½ teaspoons salt

1 ½ cups warm water (about 110°F)

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

6 cloves garlic, minced

¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Additional melted butter for brushing

Instructions

Prepare the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt. Gradually add the warm water while stirring until the dough comes together. Knead the dough for about 8-10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.

First Rise: Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 to 1.5 hours or until doubled in size.

Make the Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Set aside.

Shape the Rolls: After the dough has risen, punch it down to release the air. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a smooth ball and place them in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.

Second Rise: Cover the rolls with a kitchen towel and let them rise again for another 30-45 minutes, until they puff up.

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Brush with Garlic Butter: Once the rolls have risen, gently brush the garlic butter mixture over the tops of each roll, reserving some for later.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and cooked through.

Final Brush: Remove from the oven and brush the remaining garlic butter over the top of the rolls for extra flavor.

Serve: Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm!
