Ingredients

8 oz egg noodles

1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

6 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 tablespoon hoisin sauce

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 cup snap peas

1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced

1 green onion, chopped (for garnish)

Salt and pepper to taste

Crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Instructions

Cook the Noodles: In a large pot of salted boiling water, add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Steak: Season the thinly sliced flank steak with salt and pepper.

Sear the Steak: In a large skillet or wok, heat 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Once melted and hot, add the sliced steak in a single layer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the pan and set aside.

Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, but be careful not to burn it.

Add the Vegetables: Toss in the snap peas and red bell pepper slices. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they just start to soften but still retain their crunch.

Combine Everything: Return the steak to the skillet and add the cooked noodles, soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil. Toss everything together gently until well combined and heated through. If you like a bit of heat, sprinkle in some crushed red pepper flakes.

Serve: Remove from heat, and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if necessary.
