Ingredients

3 cups all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons sugar

1 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons instant yeast

1 cup whole milk, warm

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

1 egg, for egg wash

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm milk and sugar, then sprinkle the instant yeast on top. Allow it to sit for about 5 minutes until foamy.

Add the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and salt to the mixture. Mix well to combine.

Gradually add the flour, one cup at a time, until a soft dough begins to form.

Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 10 minutes, until it is smooth and elastic.

Transfer the dough to a greased bowl, cover it with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Punch down the risen dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a small ball.

Place the shaped rolls into a greased baking pan, leaving a little space between each roll. Cover and let them rise again for about 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Brush the tops of the rolls with beaten egg to create a golden crust.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown on top.

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Prep Time: 1 hour | Total Time: 2 hours | Servings: 12 rolls

Presentation Tips: Serve the warm rolls in a basket lined with a clean kitchen towel. Optionally, garnish with a sprinkle of additional chopped parsley for color and a drizzle of olive oil or garlic butter for added decadence.
