Ingredients

500g mixed mushrooms (button, shiitake, and oyster), cleaned and sliced

4 cloves garlic, minced

3 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried thyme)

1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Once the oil is hot, add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently, until the mushrooms release their moisture and start to brown.

Lower the heat, then add the minced garlic and thyme. Stir well to combine and sauté for another 2-3 minutes, until the garlic is fragrant but not burnt.

Pour in the balsamic vinegar, and season with salt and pepper. Stir everything together and let it cook for another minute to allow the flavors to meld.

Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh parsley for an added layer of flavor and color.

            Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 20 minutes | Servings: 4

              - Presentation Tips: Serve the savory garlic mushrooms warm in a rustic bowl or on a platter. Drizzle extra olive oil on top and add a few sprigs of thyme for decoration.
