Ingredients

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes

4 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (oregano, thyme, basil)

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Wooden or metal skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes)

Instructions

Marinate the Chicken: In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, dried Italian herbs, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper. Add the chicken cubes to the bowl and toss until they are well coated. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (up to overnight for more flavor).

Preheat the Grill/Oven: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, or if using an oven, preheat the broiler.

Assemble the Skewers: Once the chicken is marinated, thread the chicken cubes onto the skewers, making sure to leave a little space between each piece to ensure even cooking.

Coat with Parmesan: In a shallow dish, spread the grated Parmesan cheese. Roll each chicken skewer in the Parmesan, ensuring they are well coated on all sides.

Grill or Broil the Skewers: Place the skewers on the grill (or under the broiler) and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C).

Garnish and Serve: Remove the skewers from the grill or oven, and sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the top for a pop of color and freshness.

              Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 40 minutes | Servings: 4

                - Presentation Tips: Serve the skewers on a platter with a side of marinara sauce or garlic aioli for dipping. You can also garnish the plate with lemon wedges for added brightness in flavor and style. Enjoy!
