Ingredients

4 bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch thick)

1 tablespoon olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels and season both sides generously with salt and pepper.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the pork chops and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side until they are golden brown. It’s okay if they’re not cooked through as they will finish in the oven.

In a small bowl, mix together the minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, dried oregano, paprika, and breadcrumbs.

Once the pork chops are seared, remove them from the skillet and place them in a baking dish. Spoon the garlic Parmesan mixture generously over the top of each chop, pressing gently to adhere the mixture to the meat.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the pork reaches 145°F (63°C) and the topping is golden and crispy.

Remove from the oven and let the chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Garnish with fresh parsley and serve alongside lemon wedges for a bright contrast.
