Ingredients

6 large butter croissants, cut into bite-sized pieces

1 cup cooked ham, diced

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese

6 large eggs

1 cup whole milk

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.

In the baking dish, evenly layer the croissant pieces, followed by the diced ham, cheddar cheese, and Swiss cheese.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Carefully pour the egg mixture over the layered croissants, ham, and cheese, ensuring everything is soaked. Gently press down with a spatula to submerge the croissants.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the casserole is puffed and golden brown on top.

Once cooked, let the casserole cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

Garnish the sliced casserole with freshly chopped green onions for added flavor and color.

                  Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 1 hour | Servings: 6-8

                    - Presentation Tips: Serve warm directly from the baking dish, garnished with the sliced green onions. You can also accompany it with a simple mixed green salad for a fresh twist.
