Ingredients

6 slices of deli ham (your choice: honey, smoked, or black forest)

6 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

12 dill pickles (small, whole or spears)

1/4 cup freshly chopped chives (optional)

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

6 large flour tortillas (spinach or regular for added color)

Instructions

In a medium bowl, blend together the softened cream cheese and Dijon mustard until smooth. If desired, add freshly chopped chives and black pepper for added flavor.

Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface. Using a spatula or knife, spread about 1 ounce of the cream cheese mixture evenly over the entire surface of the tortilla.

Place 1 slice of ham on top of the cream cheese, ensuring it covers the tortilla. If using, sprinkle some chopped chives over the ham for added freshness.

Position 2 dill pickles along one edge of the tortilla (for spears) or distribute the small whole pickles evenly over the ham.

Carefully roll the tortilla away from the pickle edge, ensuring it's tight and secure. Once fully rolled, slice the pinwheel into bite-sized pieces (about 1 inch thick).

Repeat the process with the remaining tortillas, ham, and cream cheese mixture.

Arrange the pinwheels on a serving platter, and if desired, garnish with extra chopped chives or a few whole pickles.
