Ingredients
  

1 lb ground beef

1 medium onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

4 large potatoes, thinly sliced

1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup

1 cup beef broth

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup sour cream

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain excess grease if necessary.

      Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until the onion becomes translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

        In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

          Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle half of the ground beef mixture over the potatoes, and spoon half of the soup mixture on top. Repeat with the remaining potatoes, beef, and soup mixture.

            Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.

              Remove the foil and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top. Return to the oven uncovered and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the potatoes are tender.

                Once baked, let the casserole sit for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
