Ingredients

1 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons ketchup

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon finely chopped shallots

1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon sweet pickle relish

Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise and ketchup. Stir until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

Add the apple cider vinegar, and mix well to incorporate the tangy flavor.

Carefully fold in the finely chopped shallots and fresh dill. If using dried dill, sprinkle it in at this stage.

Add Worcestershire sauce and Dijon mustard, stirring continuously for an even blend.

Incorporate sweet pickle relish for that additional crunch and sweetness.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste, adjusting to your preferred flavor profile.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

Serve chilled as a dressing for salads or as a zesty accompaniment for sandwiches and burgers.
