Ingredients

10 corn tortillas

1/4 cup olive oil

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for extra heat)

Fresh lime wedges, for serving

Fresh cilantro, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

Stack the corn tortillas and cut them into quarters, creating triangle-shaped pieces.

In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, ground cumin, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and cayenne pepper until well combined.

In a large mixing bowl, toss the tortilla triangles with the spice-oil mixture until lightly coated. Ensure every piece gets an even coverage for full flavor.

Spread the coated tortilla triangles in a single layer on the prepared baking sheets, ensuring they don’t overlap.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the chips are golden brown and crispy. Make sure to flip them halfway through the baking time for even crispiness.

Once baked, remove the chips from the oven and allow them to cool slightly on the baking sheets.

Serve warm with fresh lime wedges and garnish with cilantro if desired.
