Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1/3 cup honey

1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons soy sauce (low sodium)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

In a medium bowl, whisk together the honey, lemon juice, minced garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, dried thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over the chicken. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 4 hours for more flavor).

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Remove the chicken from the marinade and place it in a baking dish. Pour the remaining marinade over the chicken.

Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).

For a caramelized finish, broil the chicken on high for the last 3-4 minutes, watching closely to avoid burning.

Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
