Ingredients

1 cup lump crab meat, picked over for shell

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup sour cream

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning (or to taste)

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)

2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Baguette slices, crackers, or vegetable sticks (for dipping)

Instructions

Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare the mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Use an electric mixer or a sturdy spatula to blend until smooth and creamy.

Add cheeses and seasoning: Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, Old Bay seasoning, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using). Mix until all ingredients are evenly combined.

Fold in crab meat: Gently fold the lump crab meat into the mixture, being careful not to break up the crab too much.

Transfer to baking dish: Spoon the crab dip mixture into a greased baking dish (an 8x8 inch is perfect).

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and golden on top.

Garnish and serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Sprinkle with chopped chives for garnish. Serve warm with baguette slices, crackers, or vegetable sticks, along with lemon wedges on the side for a splash of brightness.
