Ingredients

4 boneless chicken breasts

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

1 tablespoon hot sauce (adjust to taste)

1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1/3 cup honey

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust based on heat preference)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap and pound them to an even thickness of about ½ inch. This promotes even cooking and tenderness.

Set Up the Breading Station: In three separate shallow bowls, place the flour seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in one; whisk the eggs and hot sauce together in another; and put the breadcrumbs in the last bowl.

Bread the Chicken: Dredge each chicken breast in the flour mixture, shaking off excess. Next, dip into the egg mixture, letting excess drip off, then coat well in breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.

Fry the Chicken: Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add enough oil (about 1/2 inch deep) to fry. Once hot, carefully add the breaded chicken cutlets in batches. Fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/75°C). Remove and drain on paper towels.

Prepare the Hot Honey: In a small saucepan over low heat, combine honey and cayenne pepper. Stir until warmed and well-combined but not boiling — about 2-3 minutes. Adjust the cayenne based on your spice preference.

Serve: Drizzle the hot honey over the crispy chicken cutlets before serving.

Garnish: Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley on top for color and flavor.

                  - Presentation Tips: Serve the hot honey chicken cutlets on a wooden board or white plate, drizzled with the hot honey, and garnish with parsley. For added color, accompany with lemon wedges on the side.
