Ingredients

1 pound salmon fillet, skinless and cut into bite-sized cubes

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

3 tablespoons honey

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the salmon: In a large bowl, combine the salmon cubes, olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss gently to coat the salmon evenly.

Arrange the salmon: Spread the seasoned salmon cubes in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are not overcrowded.

Bake the salmon: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon is flaky and cooked through.

Make the hot honey sauce: While the salmon is baking, combine honey, red pepper flakes, and lemon juice in a small saucepan. Warm over low heat until the honey is melted and thoroughly mixed (about 2-3 minutes). Remove from heat.

Glaze the salmon: Once the salmon bites are ready, drizzle the hot honey sauce generously over the baked salmon bites. Use a spatula to gently toss the bites to ensure they are coated well.

Serve: Transfer the hot honey salmon bites to a serving platter and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
