Ingredients

1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup sliced pepperoni

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Olive oil, for brushing

Marinara sauce, for dipping

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle, approximately 12x16 inches thick.

Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

Layer the sliced pepperoni on top of the mozzarella, making sure to cover it fully.

Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese, dried oregano, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes (if using) over the pepperoni.

Starting from one of the longer edges, carefully roll the dough into a log, making sure the filling stays inside. Pinch the edges to seal tightly.

Place the rolled stromboli seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

Brush the top of the stromboli with the beaten egg and a light drizzle of olive oil to help it achieve a golden color during baking.

Use a sharp knife to make a few slits on the top for steam to escape.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the stromboli is golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
