Ingredients

2 large chicken breasts, boneless and skinless

2 cups broccoli florets

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper, to taste

Olive oil, for cooking

Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through and golden brown. Remove from skillet, let rest for a few minutes, and then slice into strips.

Cook the Broccoli: In the same skillet, add the broccoli florets and sauté for 2-3 minutes until they are bright green. Add a splash of water, cover the skillet, and steam for another 3-4 minutes until tender but still crisp. Remove the broccoli and set aside.

Make the Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, continuing to cook until the sauce is smooth and thickened, about 3-5 minutes. Season with additional salt and pepper if desired.

Combine All Ingredients: Add the sliced chicken and sautéed broccoli back into the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Stir to coat everything evenly and heat through for a minute.

Serve: Plate the creamy chicken Alfredo with broccoli, garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and enjoy!
