Ingredients

1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup crushed pineapple, drained

1 package (14 oz) King's Hawaiian Sweet Bread Rolls (or similar sweet bread)

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

1/4 cup shredded coconut (optional)

Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and creamy.

Stir in the crushed pineapple until fully incorporated.

Take the King's Hawaiian Sweet Bread Rolls and gently slice each roll lengthwise, creating a pocket for the cheesecake filling.

Carefully stuff each roll with the cheesecake-pineapple mixture, being generous but not overfilling them.

Place the stuffed rolls on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them at least 2 inches apart.

Brush the tops of the filled rolls with the beaten egg for a golden finish.

If desired, sprinkle shredded coconut over the top for added texture and flavor.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and puffed up.

Once baked, allow to cool slightly on a wire rack before serving.

Garnish with fresh mint leaves for a pop of color and freshness.
