Ingredients

1 pre-made pie crust (9-inch)

1 cup granulated sugar

3 large eggs

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons)

Zest of 1 lemon

1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Optional: powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Place the pre-made pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and crimp the edges. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar and eggs until well blended.

Add the melted butter, fresh lemon juice, and lemon zest to the egg mixture. Whisk until combined.

Sift the flour, salt, and baking powder together, then gradually add it to the lemon mixture, stirring gently until smooth.

Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust, smoothing the top with a spatula.

Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the center is set and a light golden brown crust forms on the edges. The pie may slightly jiggle in the center but will firm up as it cools.

Remove from the oven and allow the pie to cool to room temperature before slicing.

If desired, dust the top with powdered sugar for a touch of sweetness and elegance.

                    Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 55-60 minutes | Servings: 8

                      - Presentation Tips: Serve slices on individual plates, garnished with a thin lemon twist or fresh mint leaves for a colorful touch. Enjoy!
