Ingredients

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

4 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

Zest and juice of 2 lemons

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

Increase the heat to medium-high and add the shrimp to the skillet. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes, flipping once, until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.

Pour the lemon juice over the shrimp, then add the zest, and toss to coat evenly. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to let the flavors meld.

Remove from heat and stir in the fresh parsley for a burst of color and flavor.

Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side for added zest.
