Ingredients

2 packages (14 oz each) Little Smokies sausages

1 cup BBQ sauce (your choice)

1/4 cup honey

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 cup diced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 cup chopped green onions (for garnish)

Toothpicks (for serving)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare the Sauce: In a medium bowl, whisk together the BBQ sauce, honey, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth. Adjust the heat according to your taste preferences by adding more cayenne if desired.

Combine Smokies and Sauce: In a large mixing bowl, add the Little Smokies sausages and pour the prepared sauce over them. Toss until they are well-coated.

Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the sauced sausages into a 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading them out evenly. Sprinkle diced jalapeños on top.

Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the sausages are heated through and the sauce is bubbly.

Add Cheese: Remove the dish from the oven and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the sausages. Return to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and slightly golden.

Garnish & Serve: Once done, remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, and then garnish with chopped green onions. Serve warm with toothpicks for easy enjoyment.
