Ingredients

20 large jumbo pasta shells

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, diced

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1 pinch red pepper flakes (optional)

2 cups marinara sauce

2 tbsp olive oil

Fresh basil, for garnish

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside to cool.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Add the diced chicken to the skillet and season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.

Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

In a large bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, and 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese with the chicken and shrimp mixture. Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for some heat, if desired.

Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Carefully stuff each cooked pasta shell with the chicken and shrimp mixture and place them in the baking dish seam side up.

Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the stuffed shells. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Then, uncover and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Garnish with fresh basil before serving. Enjoy!
