Ingredients

1 package (25 oz) refrigerated cheese ravioli

2 cups marinara sauce (preferably homemade)

1 cup ricotta cheese

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 large egg

1 teaspoon dried basil

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, egg, basil, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined to create a creamy filling.

In a large baking dish (around 9x13 inches), spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom.

Layer half of the ravioli over the marinara sauce, ensuring they don’t overlap.

Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the ravioli, followed by a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese.

Repeat the layers with the remaining ravioli, marinara sauce, ricotta mixture, and top with the remaining mozzarella and all of the Parmesan cheese.

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

Let the casserole sit for 10 minutes before serving to set.

Garnish with fresh parsley if desired for a pop of color.

                      Prep Time: 20 minutes | Total Time: 50 minutes | Servings: 6-8

Presentation Tips: Serve the casserole hot, straight from the oven. Cut into square portions and garnish each serving with a sprinkle of fresh parsley and an additional pinch of Parmesan for a restaurant-style finish!
