Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

4 oz beef bacon, chopped

1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped

1/4 cup pickles, finely chopped

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 package of slider buns or small dinner rolls

Lettuce leaves, for serving

Ketchup and mustard, for serving

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook the Bacon: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped beef bacon until crispy. Remove from the skillet and let drain on paper towels, keeping some of the bacon fat in the skillet.

Prepare the Beef Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, cooked bacon, cheddar cheese, chopped red onion, chopped pickles, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.

Shape the Patties: Form the mixture into small patties, about the size of the slider buns (approximately 2 inches in diameter).

Cook the Patties: In the same skillet used for the bacon, heat it over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned. (If needed, do this in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan.)

Assemble and Bake: Place the cooked patties on the bottom halves of the slider buns on a baking sheet. Top each patty with additional cheddar cheese, then cover them with the top halves of the buns.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the buns are slightly toasted.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute. Serve warm with lettuce, ketchup, and mustard on the side.
