Ingredients

1 cup fresh pineapple juice

1 cup granulated sugar

1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon natural pineapple extract (optional for enhanced flavor)

Instructions

In a medium saucepan, combine the fresh pineapple juice and sugar over medium heat. Stir gently until the sugar is completely dissolved, creating a sweet syrup base.

Once the mixture starts to simmer, reduce the heat to low, and continue to stir for about 5 minutes. Do not let it boil vigorously.

Remove the saucepan from heat and add the fresh lime juice, vanilla extract, and salt. If desired, add the natural pineapple extract for a more intense pineapple flavor.

Stir all ingredients together until fully combined. Allow the syrup to cool slightly before transferring.

Pour the syrup into a clean glass bottle or jar using a funnel for easy transfer. Make sure to leave some space at the top before sealing it.

Let the syrup cool to room temperature, then refrigerate. The syrup can be stored in the fridge for up to 4 weeks.
