Ingredients

1 lb kielbasa sausage

3 tablespoons Dijon mustard

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon black pepper

¼ cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Toothpicks (optional, for serving)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Rinse the kielbasa sausage under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.

On a cutting board, place the kielbasa and create Hasselback cuts. To do this, make evenly spaced vertical slits down the length of the sausage, being careful not to cut all the way through—leave about ½ inch at the bottom.

In a small bowl, mix together the Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper until well combined.

Place the sliced kielbasa on a lined baking sheet. Drizzle the mustard mixture generously over the sausages, ensuring that some drips into the cuts for maximum flavor.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the kielbasa is heated through and the edges are slightly crisp. You may want to baste the sausages with the pan juices halfway through for extra flavor.

Once done, remove from the oven and let cool slightly before garnishing with chopped parsley.

Serve the Mustard Hasselback Kielbasa Bites warm, either whole or cut into bite-sized pieces. Secure them with toothpicks for easier handling if desired.
