Ingredients
  

4 slices of bread (white or whole grain)

1/2 cup Nutella

1 small banana, sliced (optional)

2 tablespoons butter, softened

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 tablespoon sugar

A pinch of salt

Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Bread: Start by laying out the bread slices on a clean surface. If using banana, place the slices on two of the bread slices evenly.

    Spread Nutella: Generously spread Nutella over the two slices of bread (with or without bananas) that will be the filling.

      Form the Pies: Place the other two slices of bread on top to form two sandwiches. Gently press down to seal the edges.

        Prepare the Butter Mixture: In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, cinnamon, sugar, and a pinch of salt. Mix until smooth.

          Butter the Sides: Brush the butter mixture generously on both sides of each sandwich.

            Heat a Pan: Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, place the sandwiches in the pan.

              Cook the Pies: Cook each side for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Press down slightly with a spatula to ensure an even brown color.

                Remove from Pan: Once cooked, remove the toast pies from the skillet and allow them to cool slightly.

                  Serve: Dust with powdered sugar if desired, slice in half, and serve warm for a delightful treat!
