Ingredients
  

1 cup extra virgin olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped

1 teaspoon fresh thyme, finely chopped

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

1 teaspoon coarse sea salt

Zest of half a lemon

1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

Freshly cracked black pepper to taste

1 large artisan loaf of bread (like ciabatta or baguette)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Olive Oil Dip: In a small bowl, combine the extra virgin olive oil and minced garlic. Let it sit for about 10 minutes to infuse the flavors.

    Add Herbs and Seasoning: Stir in the chopped rosemary, thyme, red pepper flakes, sea salt, lemon zest, balsamic vinegar, and freshly cracked black pepper. Mix gently to combine all the ingredients. Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary.

      Warm the Bread: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the artisan loaf into thick slices and place them on a baking sheet. Lightly brush each side with olive oil, and bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until golden and crispy.

        Serve: Transfer the olive oil dip into a serving bowl. Arrange the warm bread slices on a platter next to the dip. Optionally, add a sprig of fresh herbs for garnish.
