Ingredients

8 oz (about 2 cups) penne pasta

1 lb flank steak, sliced thinly

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 medium onion, sliced

1 bell pepper (green or yellow), sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups beef broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

4 oz provolone cheese, shredded

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prep the Steak: Season the thinly sliced flank steak with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

Sauté Vegetables: In a large pot or deep skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced onions and bell pepper. Sauté for about 5 minutes or until they are softened.

Cook the Steak: Push the vegetables to one side of the pot and add the seasoned flank steak. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until the steak is browned but not fully cooked.

Add Garlic: Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.

Combine with Pasta: Stir in the penne pasta, beef broth, heavy cream, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring the mixture to a boil.

Simmer: Reduce the heat to medium-low, cover the pot, and let simmer for about 12-15 minutes, or until the pasta is cooked al dente and has absorbed most of the liquid. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.

Add Cheese: Once the pasta is cooked, stir in the provolone and Parmesan cheese. Mix well until the cheeses are melted and creamy. Adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed.

Serve: Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot. Enjoy your One-Pot Philly Cheesesteak Pasta!
