Ingredients

12 oz penne pasta

1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 small yellow onion, thinly sliced

1 bell pepper (green or red), thinly sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

3 cups beef broth

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup heavy cream

1 ½ cups provolone cheese, shredded

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Sauté the Steak: In a large pot over medium-high heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, add the thinly sliced flank steak, season with salt and pepper, and cook for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove the steak from the pot and set aside.

Cook the Vegetables: In the same pot, add the sliced onion and bell pepper. Sauté for about 5 minutes until tender. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds until fragrant.

Combine Ingredients: Return the cooked steak to the pot. Add the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, and pasta. Stir well and bring to a boil.

Simmer the Pasta: Once boiling, reduce the heat to a simmer. Cover and cook for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente and has absorbed most of the liquid.

Create the Creamy Sauce: Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream, provolone cheese, and Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is well combined and heated through.

Serve and Enjoy: Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot. Enjoy your hearty and comforting One-Pot Philly Cheesesteak Pasta!
