2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for a little heat)

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

In a large bowl, combine the broccoli florets with olive oil, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Toss until the broccoli is evenly coated.

In a separate bowl, mix together the grated Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs until well combined.

Place the broccoli florets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper in a single layer.

Sprinkle the breadcrumb and cheese mixture generously over the broccoli.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the broccoli is tender and the topping is golden brown and crispy.

Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for a minute.

Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
