Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 medium onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 bell pepper, chopped (red or green)

2 cups elbow macaroni

1 (28 oz) can diced tomatoes (with juice)

2 cups beef broth

1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce

2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional, for topping)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

In a large pot or Dutch oven, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess grease.

Add chopped onion, minced garlic, and bell pepper to the pot. Sauté until the vegetables are soft, about 5 minutes.

Stir in the diced tomatoes (with juice), beef broth, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and Italian seasoning. Mix well.

Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then reduce the heat and add the elbow macaroni. Cover and let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the macaroni is cooked al dente, stirring occasionally.

Season with salt and pepper to taste. If desired, stir in the cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.

Serve hot in bowls, garnished with fresh chopped parsley on top. Enjoy your comforting goulash!
