Ingredients

1 cup creamy peanut butter

1/2 cup honey or maple syrup

1/2 cup rolled oats

1/4 cup dark chocolate chips

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

A pinch of salt

Pink or red sprinkles (for decoration)

Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter and honey (or maple syrup) until smooth and well blended.

Add the rolled oats, vanilla extract, and salt to the mixture. Stir until all ingredients are incorporated and you have a thick, dough-like consistency.

Fold in the dark chocolate chips gently.

Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper, allowing some overhang for easy removal later.

Press the peanut butter mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared dish, smoothing the top with a spatula.

Refrigerate the mixture for about 30 minutes or until it is firm enough to cut.

Once firm, remove from the fridge and lift out of the dish using the parchment paper overhang.

Using a heart-shaped cookie cutter, cut out heart shapes from the chilled peanut butter mixture.

Place the heart-shaped treats on a serving platter and lightly sprinkle pink or red sprinkles on top to add a festive touch.

Prep Time: 10 mins | Total Time: 40 mins | Servings: About 12 pieces

                      - Presentation Tips: Arrange the hearts in a cute gift box or on a decorative plate, and consider wrapping them in clear cellophane tied with a ribbon for a lovely Valentine’s gift!
