Ingredients

1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons oyster sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1 red bell pepper, sliced

1 green bell pepper, sliced

1 yellow onion, sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1-inch piece ginger, grated

1 teaspoon sesame oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Optional: sesame seeds and green onions for garnish

Instructions

In a medium bowl, combine the sliced flank steak with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Mix well to coat and let marinate for 15 minutes.

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the marinated steak to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned and still tender. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the sliced bell peppers and onion. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until they are slightly tender but still crisp.

Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the veggies, stirring constantly for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Return the cooked steak to the skillet and mix everything together. Drizzle sesame oil over the stir-fry and season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir well for another 2-3 minutes to ensure everything is evenly coated and heated through.

Serve hot over cooked rice or noodles, garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired.
