Ingredients

2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

1 cup sweetened condensed milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon peppermint extract

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup crushed peppermint candies (plus extra for garnish)

1/4 cup white chocolate chips (for drizzling)

Instructions

Prepare the Pan: Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal. Lightly grease the parchment paper.

Melt the Chocolate: In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the semisweet chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Stir gently until melted and smooth, ensuring it doesn't burn.

Add Flavors: Remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the vanilla extract, peppermint extract, and salt until fully incorporated.

Mix in Candies: Fold in the crushed peppermint candies, reserving a few tablespoons for topping the fudge later.

Pour and Spread: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan. Use a spatula to spread it evenly.

Chill: Refrigerate the fudge for about 2 hours, or until set.

Make the Drizzle: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.

Drizzle: Once the fudge is set, remove it from the pan. Drizzle melted white chocolate over the top and sprinkle the reserved crushed peppermint candies on top.

Cut and Serve: Allow the fudge to sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes before cutting it into squares. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
