Ingredients

2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced

1 medium onion, finely chopped

1 medium green bell pepper, finely chopped

2 cups provolone cheese, shredded

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the onion and bell pepper, sautéing until they soften, about 5 minutes.

Add the thinly sliced ribeye steak to the skillet. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, cooking until the steak is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.

Roll out the crescent roll dough into a large circle on a parchment-lined baking sheet, ensuring the triangular pieces overlap slightly, forming a star shape.

Spoon the steak and vegetable mixture evenly over the wider ends of the crescent triangles, leaving the tips free.

Sprinkle the provolone cheese generously over the filling.

Carefully fold the tips of the dough triangles over the filling, tucking them under the center to create a ring shape.

Brush the top of the crescent ring with the beaten egg for a golden finish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before slicing and serving.
