Ingredients

8 oz penne pasta

1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced

1 medium onion, sliced

1 medium green bell pepper, sliced

1 medium red bell pepper, sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 cup beef broth

1 cup provolone cheese, shredded

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Steak: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil. Once the oil is hot, add the thinly sliced steak. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until browned but not fully cooked. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Sauté the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the sliced onions and bell peppers. Cook for about 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Combine Ingredients: Return the steak to the skillet, then stir in the Worcestershire sauce and beef broth. Bring to a simmer and let cook for 4-5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the steak to finish cooking.

Cheesy Goodness: Reduce the heat to low, then add the cream cheese and shredded provolone cheese. Stir continuously until the cheeses melt and create a creamy sauce.

Mix with Pasta: Add the cooked penne pasta to the skillet, tossing everything together until the pasta is well coated with the cheese sauce. Check the seasoning and adjust with additional salt and pepper if needed.

Serve: Remove from heat and garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
