Ingredients

1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup thinly sliced sirloin steak

1/2 cup bell pepper, finely chopped (mix of red and green)

1/2 cup onion, finely chopped

1 cup provolone cheese, shredded

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prep the Filling: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced sirloin steak, and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until the steak is browned, about 3-4 minutes.

Add Vegetables: Stir in the chopped bell peppers and onion, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the veggies are soft. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Prepare Cheese Mixture: In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and half of the provolone cheese. Mix until well blended.

Roll Out Dough: On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle approximately 1/4 inch thick. Cut the dough into long strips, about 4 inches wide.

Assemble Breadsticks: Spread a layer of the cream cheese mixture down the center of each strip. Top with a spoonful of the steak and vegetable mixture, followed by a sprinkle of the remaining provolone cheese.

Fold and Seal: Carefully fold the sides of the dough over the filling to create a pocket, pinching the edges to seal well. Repeat with the remaining strips.

Egg Wash: Place the stuffed breadsticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush each breadstick with the beaten egg for a golden finish.

Bake: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake the breadsticks for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

Garnish and Serve: Once baked, garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve warm.

Prep Time: 30 min | Total Time: 50 min | Servings: 6 breadsticks

                      - Presentation Tips: Serve the cheesy breadsticks in a basket lined with parchment paper and offer a side of marinara sauce for dipping.
