Ingredients

1 can Pillsbury refrigerated biscuits (8 count)

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

2 teaspoons garlic powder

1 teaspoon dried parsley

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Open the can of Pillsbury biscuits and separate them into individual pieces.

Flatten each biscuit slightly with your fingers or a rolling pin into a circle, about 3 inches wide.

In a mixing bowl, combine the mozzarella and cheddar cheese.

Place about 1 tablespoon of the cheese mix in the center of each biscuit.

Gather the edges of the biscuit and pinch them together to seal, forming a ball. Ensure that the cheese is fully enclosed to prevent leakage during baking.

In a separate small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic powder, dried parsley, salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using).

Dip each biscuit ball into the garlic butter mixture to coat, and then place them seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

Brush the tops of the biscuit balls with the beaten egg for a nice golden finish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until they are puffed and golden brown.

Remove from the oven and brush any remaining garlic butter mixture over the tops for added flavor.

                        Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 8

                          - Presentation Tips: Serve warm in a basket lined with parchment paper. Optionally, garnish with extra chopped parsley or serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
