4 large pita bread rounds

1/4 cup olive oil

2 teaspoons garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Cut each pita bread round into 8 wedges (like a pizza) using a sharp knife or kitchen scissors.

      In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried oregano, dried thyme, sea salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to create an herb-infused oil.

        Place the pita wedges in a large mixing bowl and drizzle the herb oil over them. Toss gently until all pieces are well-coated.

          Arrange the coated pita wedges in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.

            Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the chips are golden brown and crispy. Be sure to turn them halfway through for even cooking.

              Once baked, remove the chips from the oven and let them cool slightly on the baking sheet before transferring them to a serving dish.
