Ingredients
  

1 package of refrigerated pizza dough

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1/2 cup pepperoni slices (or your choice of toppings)

1/4 cup marinara sauce (plus extra for dipping)

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 egg (for egg wash)

Flour (for dusting)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.

      Evenly spread marinara sauce over the pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

        Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, followed by the pepperoni slices (feel free to add other toppings of your choice).

          Sprinkle garlic powder and Italian seasoning evenly over the toppings.

            Starting from one end, carefully roll the dough tightly into a log. Pinch the seams to seal and tuck in the ends to prevent filling from escaping.

              Slice the rolled dough into 1-inch thick pieces and place them cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.

                In a small bowl, beat the egg and brush it over the tops of the pizza rolls for a golden finish.

                  Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

                    Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving with additional marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
